David Cornfield, B.A, J.D, M.T. and Linsay Cornfield, Certificate in Adult Education and Counselling (OISE), have been in private practice together as Creative Edge since 1987. Their approach to psychotherapy and counselling is an amalgam of their training and experience with many different modalities of therapy, including Jungian, Transpersonal, Primal, Gestalt, Bioenergetics and Psychodrama. They work with individuals, couples, and groups, specializing in the issues that arise at mid-life. David and Linsay are both members of the core teaching faculty in the training program leading to a Psychotherapy Diploma at The Living Institute. Prior to 1987 David spent two years as a policy advisor to the Federal Minister of Justice, ten years as a lawyer and educator in community legal services, and seven years as a registered massage therapist. As co-founder of Portable Theatre, she created and performed educational theatre for clients such as the YMCA and CIDA. Later she designed and delivered innovative trainings for the private and public sectors, for clients such as the City of Toronto. After graduating from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, she worked as a career counsellor for Jewish Vocational Services and for the YMCA.
